Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use PostPilot, and at least 18 to enter into binding agreements on behalf of an organization. We authenticate accounts through Google OAuth; you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

You may not share your account, attempt to access other users' accounts, or create accounts using automated means.

2. The Service

PostPilot uses third-party large language models (currently Google Gemini) to generate post drafts based on the topics, platforms, and tones you provide. The Service is offered on a freemium basis with a free tier (10 generations per month) and paid plans that may be introduced over time.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. Where reasonable, we will provide advance notice of material changes that affect paid plans.

3. AI-Generated Content

Output produced by PostPilot is generated by AI models and may contain inaccuracies, biases, or content that is not suitable for every audience. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing any content before publishing it.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the prompts you submit and the outputs generated for you. You grant PostPilot a limited license to process your prompts and store generated outputs so we can deliver the Service to you (for example, your post history).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or hateful;
• create misleading impersonations of real people or brands;
• generate sexual content involving minors or non-consensual material;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract our prompts or models;
• circumvent rate limits or usage caps;
• resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

6. Third-Party Services

PostPilot relies on third-party providers including Google (authentication, AI), Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure), and our hosting provider. Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party outages or policy changes.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PostPilot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued provision of the Service to you becomes commercially impractical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email associated with your account or through the Service. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
